Summer Camp
Don’t let your child lose his or her academic skills over the summer! The learning fun never stops here at A Step Ahead and we don’t leave anything out. Our program features many aspects of a Montessori school combined with traditional methodologies as well. When a child is ready for more advanced concepts they are introduced. If a child requires reinforcement on more elementary concepts they are provided. We strive for each child to be confident and proud of the skills they have mastered.
Our summer camp program runs 9 full weeks immediately following the end of the academic school year.
We offer the following programs:
- 1/2 Day Morning (9am – 12pm)
- 1/2 Day Afternoon (12pm -3pm)
- Full Day (9am – 3pm)
You’re child can attend as many or as few weeks as you would like!
Children from 2 1/2 years to 6 years are eligible to attend.
What can your child expect?
We will continue to provide a one on one learning environment throughout the summer to ensure your child’s academic growth continues! In addition, we will be focusing on the season of summer through:
- Arts and crafts
- Cooking
- Gardening
- Music & movement
- Dance
- Yoga
- So much more!
We will enjoy the warm weather outside with playground activities, organized water games and sprinkler fun – making memories with old friends and new! Our classrooms contain Montessori materials as well as traditional materials that are designed to engage and excite children at all levels.
Each week our campers will explore a different theme in the classroom. All of the themes will be fun and hands on!

- Seeding & Planting
- America the Beautiful
- Many more!
