Celebrating 32 Years of Excellence
The Importance of Early Childhood Education
Giving your child the right preschool learning experience can offer long-term advantages throughout his or her educational career. According to The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), a preschool education can produce substantial gains in a child’s learning and development, especially in the area of achievement test scores over time. And better achievement test scores mean more opportunities, especially when it comes to college choice and scholarship dollars. The right preschool can make a big difference, not only as your child enters kindergarten, but years down the road.
But with all the preschool programs available, choosing the right one can be a challenge.
We believe a happy, self-assured child has a natural edge over all others. That is why children who have completed our program feel good about themselves and about the skills they have mastered. They are eager to continue learning, have great self confidence and easily excel in their next level of education. We create the foundation for the leaders of tomorrow.
Our facility is located on over 2 acres of beautiful historic Marlboro countryside giving our students ample area for large and small motor development. Please rest assured our facility and staff are fully licensed meeting all state and local requirements. All staff are First Aid and CPR certified. Your child’s safety, well being and happiness during their hours spent with us are of paramount importance to everyone here at A Step Ahead!
We acquire 90% of our students via word of mouth rather than through expensive advertising. Our reputation in the community speaks for itself. Please feel free to ask us for references!
