Our philosophy of integrating both elements of a Montessori curriculum combined with a traditional preschool program provides each child with even more opportunities to explore, learn and grow. This provides each child with greater options at their disposal than either a solely Montessori program or solely traditional program.
At A Step Ahead we believe wholeheartedly in the importance of Early Childhood education.
According to The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), giving your child the right preschool learning experience can offer long term advantages throughout his or her educational career. A preschool education can produce substantial gains in a child’s learning and development, especially in the area of achievement test scores over time. Better achievement test scores mean more opportunities, especially when it comes to college choice and scholarship dollars. The right preschool can make a big difference, not only as your child enters kindergarten, but years down the road!
We have assembled a highly qualified caring staff with diverse backgrounds in early child education ranging from both Montessori philosophy and traditional philosophy. By incorporating both philosophies and wielding the most inspiring aspects of each is what really allows us to consistently produce accelerated graduates that truly are A Step Ahead!
Please note that all of our Staff members are First Aid and CPR certified yearly. Your child’s safety and well-being while in attendance is of utmost importance to everyone here at A Step Ahead Preschool.
